Competition Draw - Spring 2016 - Mens Open Thursdays - D1 & D2

Games commenced Thursday 6th October for the Spring 2016 Thursday Mens Open competition.

There are 12 teams registered in the Mens Open Thursday competition.

There are additional Mens Open competitions playing on Monday & Wednesday evenings.

There are games running in 4 time slots; 6.30pm, 7.15pm, 8.00pm, & 8.45pm.

The Thursday Mens Open competition was run ungraded for the first 5 rounds.

The results of these games were assessed and used to create 2 divisions.

A draw for the rounds 6 to 10 of the round robin has now been published, with each team in each division playing each other. 

Points accumulated in the first 5 rounds will count towards the season points score.

Following the conclusion of the first 10 Rounds, there will be a Preliminary Finals Series in the following format;

Round 11: 1v2, 3v5, 4v6

Round 12: 1v3, 2v4, 5v6

At the conclusion of the Preliminary Finals, the top 4 teams in each division will proceed to a Finals Series in the following format;

• Semi-Finals: 1v4, 2v3
• Grand Final: Winners of Semi-Finals

Cash prizes are on offer for both of the teams who make the Grand Final, with winners in Division 1 also scoring branded merchandise of their choosing.

Requests for non-competing game times for players playing in multiple teams has been supported.

Requests for early or late games have been supported where possible.

The season is drawing to a close, with the Grand Final now scheduled. All registered players are invited to attend and cheer on their favorite team & join in the end of season celebrations. A Free BBQ & Drinks will be on offer. We wish good luck to all teams.
